Every American deserves the opportunity to have a job and career that is secure and abundantly productive enough to support a family, help care for loved ones and provide for later life. But, I believe we need to go one step further: we all need to have a stake in the enterprises and institutions in which we work – an ownership interest – if not directly then indirectly.
