We should all, as Americans, more or less violently agree that everyone in this great country deserves a government that can and will provide the following:
- Healthcare that is excellent, accessible to all and affordable;
- Education that is first-rate;
- Jobs that are secure, enable us to enjoy life, raise a family and care for those we love;
- Homes that are safe and secure;
- Climate and Environment that is clean and healthy;
- Foreign Policy that both protects our national interests and grows our economy; and
- A Future that is brighter than our past
We need to get these points above right in the first instance, or all the arguments about the details are irrelevant.
